Swinton-based material specialists Corrosion Resistant Materials (CRM) has joined the manufacturing community Made in Yorkshire. The company is hoping to build its brand with the help of its Made microsite. With more than 400 members within the group, CRM also hopes to connect with more businesses to find opportunities and suppliers.
Established in 2015, Corrosion Resistant Materials is a new specialist, technical materials supplier fully accredited to ISO 9001:2015. CRM offers a supply chain solution that is second to none and is able to meet the most challenging of inquiries. The company is proud to supply customers quickly, cost-effectively, and fully compliant with specifications, with the ability to supply one-off bespoke products or full-supply packages. In addition to supplying an array of materials, CRM offers heat treatment testing machining for specifications.
Adam Bradley, Director at Corrosion Resistant Materials, decided to join Made in Yorkshire after three years of being aware of the organisation. The decision came after seeing the latest developments to the Made platform, Adam said:
“We saw how much the membership had changed over the last few years, especially the digital advancements to the website and microsite. The Midlands and Yorkshire members are also more connected, and we thought it was great that we could connect with more members because of this and the Virtual Breakfast Mornings.”
Adam and the team at CRM are looking forward to getting involved with more Made in Yorkshire projects and events. So far they have attended numerous breakfast mornings and the recent Westminster trip with fellow Made in Group members. Adam concluded:
“We are part of other organisations, but Made in Yorkshire is very diverse in terms of the number of sectors and industries involved with the group. We believe that what you put into being part of a community like MIY, is what you will get out of it. We hope to connect with more businesses, promote our brand and open ourselves up to different industries and applications.”
